Thank you for clearing that up. I did not...
understand your choice of words and it is a little more clear now. I appreciate that.

With all due respect, I don't know how you or anyone else can say Hussein had nothing to do with 9-11. There is video of Atta meeting with high level Iraqi military prior to 9-11. We all saw it during the senate hearings. I suppose you are going to say they were meeting for tea? AL Zarqawi was in northern Iraq establishing and running a terrorist training camp for a year before 9-11 happened. Coincidence? They found the fuselage, complete and intact, of a 747 in the desert in Iraq after our invasion. Used to train terrorists perhaps? Turkey on board for letting us cross their borders during the invasion, then at last minute refusing, causing us to have to redeploy and giving Iraq time to move the WMD into Syria? Another coincidence? The terrorist who orchestrated the Achille Lauro attack where they pushed Leo Klinghofer in his wheelchair overboard? Remember him? He was given sanctuary in Iraq. Please. Tell me again how Hussein had nothing to do with 9-11. I believe it is pretty clear he was involved in the training and monetary support. Way too many coincidences for me. You can ignore it all if you like, certainly your right.

I am a soldier's daughter, a soldier's wife. A soldier who has already fought Al Qaeda in Somalia. And I know one thing...to me supporting the troops is supporting their mission until they are HOME. Then if you have an issue with the war they were sent to fight, take it up then. Do not condone things like "Petraeus Betrayed Us" and "You are dying for nothing." Sorry, but that, to me, is UNpatriotic as you can get. You cannot support the troops and not support their mission. In the eyes of all the soldiers I have spoken to, that is impossible. And it is frankly hurtful to them to hear their countrymen and women at home maligning what they are trying to do.

We all want our troops home. No one WANTS a war. But I do not want to end up like Israel, afraid to go to a mall or a restaraunt, go to a sporting event or public transportation, because someone might elect to blow himself and all the rest of us up. How would you like to read about a car bomb in some American city every day? School bombings? THAT is why we are in Iraq. THAT is why we are in Afghanistan, and our willingness to be there and take the fight to them is why they are reluctant to bring the fight to us. Deny it if you like, that is certainly your right. I choose not to, and I choose to support those who are protecting us by taking the fight to them.

God bless.
Thanks for clearing that up for me. LOL (nm)

ohhh -- thanks for clearing that up
good thing you're not twisting his words for him.  I guess if I hear anymore questionable statements, I should check them here first to make sure I understand the true meaning.  Good thing you all speak the O language.
