I have--sm

I have, but did not get pregnant. I was 16. Even at that age, I knew in my heart of hearts that if I did get pregnant, that was God's choice for me, and who am I to question that. There is a reason for all things that happen to us...and mostly lessons to be learned. Would I have kept the child..more than likely. EVERY thing happens for a reason. If we choose to side step a situation given to us by God simply because we do not have the courage to deal with it at that time, He will find another way to give us that lesson and it may not be as pretty. I learned a long time ago to accept what comes my way, accept it with gratitude, even if it does not please me, because I don't know what the reasons are for having been put in that situation in the first place. Learn your lessons with grace and dignity. Don't try to deny them. You will be much happier in the end rather than shirking your duties and having to relive the bad times in your life over and over again until you get it right. Be greatful for your challenges, especially if that challenge includes a child. That child is more than a *responsibility* or a *burden* to your life...it is a gift, no matter where it came from or how it got there. Even in rape or incest, that child is a part of YOU, as well. Love it, as you love yourself. JMO
