Thanks. I live on a farm also. My husband will not kill any black snake. He thinks my fear is unfounded and tells me they won't hurt me and that they are more scared of me than I am of them. I doubt that. I have a hoe outside, so if I need to use it, I think I could. That's terrible about the water moccasin in your house. I don't stick around long enough to even see what type of snake it is. They're all the same in my eyes. I haven't heard the sliding noise in a while, so maybe he's asleep in the attic? Still have the creeps though.
