I Googled spread adder snakes with pictures. Described as nonvenomous, an animal actor! It puts on this big show with puffing out it's head and hissing. Also known as an Eastern Hognose Snake. You can read more about it. Personally, I hate snakes of any kind unless they are secured behind glass in a zoo or similar.
