As I said, if you have a problem with liberal ideology being expressed on this board, you need to contact the administrator as she is the one that helped toward having the two boards and requested many times to not bash. Can you understand that?

Why a liberal and a conservative board?
I don't get this. Why is there a board for liberals and a board for conservatives? It's not like no one comes to the liberal board who isn't, and what fun would that be, anyway? And is everyone comfortable with the labels? I consider myself a liberal on many issues, but there are some issues on which I would agree with conservatives. For instance, I want less government (which Bush supposedly wants, ha!). I think people ought to be able to bears arms and it's a real good thing for Iraq that Saddam Hussein didn't keep them from having them, so now they can try to repel the foreign invaders. Just a couple of issues for which no label really works....

I give you Democrats and/or liberals credit for even being able to respond to the right wing who for some reason, I just cannot understand why, constantly come over to the liberal board and post more than the liberals do and every post is a disagreement or outright attack towards the liberal poster who posted on the liberal board..I frankly have had it with the Republicans. They have messed up America with their backward way of thinking and they still dont get it. Their party is falling apart and they are looking at more Democrats being voted in yet they still spew their hate, bias, closed mindedness..From Limbaugh to Coulter to Falwell to Robertson, Dobson, Hannity, etc., etc., they show the world how uninformed and racist and backward they are..and the Republican masses follow blindly. I just about choked on the latest idiotic comment by Coulter concerning Christians and Jews. Someone needs to set that broad straight real fast. The comments she made that Jews need to be perfected is a mind set right out of Hitlers Germany. Oh and all you Republicans who will wander over to the liberal board and real this, dont waste the energy, I will not respond to your posts nor read them. But I still think the remarks that Bennett made were WRONG and if they weren't racist remarks I don't know what is. Sorry you can't see this. I agree. I don't know how many posts I've read here where people are just repeating lies put out by their "favorite" sources. I've read some posts that are okay, but all I keep hearing is Obama's evil, he's a destroyer, he's this he's that, or John McCain is senile, he's this or that.
I think people in nature love to "hate". They like to stir up "fear" in people. As in "If you vote for Obama he's going to let our enemies take over our country. Or "If you vote for McCain we're going to be at war with every country for the next 100 years". The most comical one I read was that Obama is a destroyer and anoher one that said Obama is trying to change the infrastructure of America. However, I did have to laugh at the ones "Obama wants to be GOD" and "Obama wants to be president of the UN" (funny I thought he wanted to be president of the US - maybe it was just a typo HA HA),
Looks like a lot of people are scared to death of both of them, but unfortunately that's who the "players" decided would be in there.
While this board can be "addicting" (finding myself visit it 6 and 7 times a day), I'm also finding it a place for gossip, rumors, and lies.

The most unfortunate part of the rumors/lies is there are a lot of people who simply believe they are passing on "important information", but what's worse is they haven't researched it for themselves. Just reading something in a newspaper doesn't make it the truth, and especially not on youtube or the conservative/liberal TV and radio.

These videos all showed US Soldiers discussing their views on the war. Much different than something you read in print. I would also like to say that the Military Times is NOT an armed forces newspaper. It is privately owned and does not in any way speak for the military. The generals are saying they will resign if we go into Iran.

I think it's a disgrace that McCain has not asked that this be stopped. But then again I think it's a disgrace that Obama wasn't outraged at the comment the KGO radio guy made about wanted Joe the Plumber dead.

The previous owner of this board banned everyone posting anti Bush comments, and there were constant neocon ad hom attacks. I am conservative but these are not my type of Republicans. There used to be a lot of good posters here.
Contaminated water/toxic metals
 As a mother of a 19-year Air Force Master Sgt., I am FURUIOUS that this has/is being done to our troops!!. If this does not constitute the mentality of a war criminal act; I don't know what does. Our sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, aunts, uncles and brothers and sisters who serve in this illegal and horrible war deserve far better than THIS. And to think; the health issues of Vietnam war veterans STILL have not been addressed/compensated - I shudder to think what lies ahead healthwise for these troops.

The majority of toxic loans were made by financial institutions that were not subject to existing regulations thanks in large part to Phil Gramm. Btw, no one forced anyone to do anything.
